ABOUT FESP6
Welcome to the 6th International Meeting on Fire Effects on Soil Properties (FESP6). This event aims to gather various fire and soil researchers from all around the world, provide a platform to share their research, stimulate discussions and facilitate future collaboration.
It will be the first time FESP is hosted in the southern hemisphere.

LOCATION
FESP6 will be hosted in the world-renowned Kruger National Park, South Africa. Besides the famous Big-5, Kruger National Park is home to one of the world's longest running fire experiments - The Experimental Burn Plots. This experiment started in the early 1950s aimed at investigating the effect of varying fire frequency and season on African savannas.
The event will be held at the Nombolo Mdhluli Conference Centre in Skukuza, Kruger National Park. Accommodation is available in Skukuza Rest Camp (within walking distance of the conference centre)and can be booked through the Conference Secretariat: Jackey Deacon (contact details below).
